PUR - So are you supporting a new release in terms of what you are doing here tonight?

Cut Chemist - It’s stuff that we shoulda been doin’ last year though.  For this last record.

Chali 2na - Naw we was doin’ something else.

Cut Chemist - What we're we doin last year?  Oh, we were on the Fiona tour.  

Chali 2na - Yea we was tourin’.  We couldn’t do it. Yea.

Cut - Yea Warped Tour was summer.  That’s right.  So we kinda I think it’s overall,  you know.

PUR - Do you have something new ready to put out right now?

Chali 2na - It is our next single “The Influence” we're supportin' the next single.  Yea.

PUR - Ok I’m hip.  So, in terms of the old-school thing, what do you say to those who say that you are “old-school” revivalists. 

Soup - I ain’t never really heard it too much.  I ain’t never heard people in the street say that.  I only heard journalists say that.  Uh, if anything.

Mark 7even - Ah y’all cool, y’all old-school.

PUR - It seems like that’s the buzz or something.

Chali 2na - Amoungst the industry folk.

Cut Chemist - The funniest thing is this though, everybody that says it probably doesn’t know what the old-school era that we're...like I don’t know if they know groups like Cold Crush Brothers or Grand Master Flash but yet they go yea....

Akila - Hook me uuuuuup!?  Young NWA.

PUR - I got another question right now.  This is probably the last question.  What are your favorite groups right now?  Like if you were to choose, I know we're sitting here with a gang but, do you guys like all the same kind of music generally that you listen to?
