They have been together since 1989. Before that there were many different members. Dave joined in 1985, Warren in 1987, Josh in 1989. The very first Vandals show was probably in 1981. Joe used to play drums, and there were drummers before him. He moved to bass in 1985. A great band that;s been around a while and will be around a long time.

MxPx was formed in Bremerton, Washington in 1993 by vocalist/bassist Mike Herrera, drummer Yuri Ruley and guitarist Andy. Originally dubbed Magnified Plaid, at the time of the group's formation all its members were still in high school; Andy was soon replaced by guitarist Tom Wisniewski, and by the time they got their driver's licenses the trio had already released several seven-inch singles and their debut album Pokinatcha for Tooth & Nail Records.
